Lake Shore Cup: this can be a fairly gentle trophy race inside the Harbour.

The trophy was offered by a resident of Hamworthy when there was a navigation mark called Lake Shore in front of his house. The condition is that the race passes along in the direction of Lake Road. So the start is at the Club and depending on conditions may go towards Rockley Point and back.They are competing for one of the coveted Club trophies, the Lake Shore Cup.
