Raft-Up

Raft-Up

Join us for a relaxed and sociable raft-up from 10 a.m., with Dragonfly leading as the main anchor yacht.

Bring your own lunch, drinks, and good company – complimentary red and white wine provided.
Visit fellow yachts, enjoy the afternoon on the water, and return to berths by 4 p.m., followed by tea and cake ashore.

If the weather is unkind, we’ll gather under the sheltered Club balcony.

We will gather at the Club at 10 a.m. John Lewis has offered to be the first with his yacht Dragonfly to be our main raft.
Anchor in the selected sheltered anchorage. We can then start to gather from around 11am but one yacht at a time. Eventually John will need two more of the larger yachts to lay their anchors to share the load.

Please bring your own nibbles and or lunches and any preferred beers or other drinks but a complimentary box red wine and white box wine will be provided. Please feel free and hopefully encouraged by other yacht owners to visit their yachts if required.
If on the day the weather is unkind, we will still have the option of gathering under the balcony in the wind protected area.

At around 3 p.m. we could start to break the raft and all yachts be back in our berths by around 4 p.m. and then perhaps gather for afternoon tea and cake.
Once we know numbers on the day we can tell Polly how many would like tea/coffee etc. If you would like to be part of this joint outing in the harbour then please contact:
