RYA youth school holiday training
This course is a structured RYA course for any youth sailors that are new to sailing and prior sailing experience already.
Through out the week we will be working towards gaining RYA stages and following the RYA Youth sailing scheme syllabus.
We will spend most of the time out on the water sailing, along with fun games on shore to teach parts of the boat, rigging boats and wind awareness.
Although we cannot guarantee the RYA level we will be able to sign off at the end of the week we will work on very fundamental sailing skills in a fun learning environment.
The courses will run from 09:30 - 16:30 and the dates are -
Monday 8th until Friday 12th April 2019 - RYA stage 1 & 2 RYA Stage 1 & 2 Summer holiday course Monday 8th until Friday 12th April
Tuesday 28th until Friday 31st May 2019 - RYA stage 3 & 4 RYA Youth stage 3 & 4 summer holiday course Tuesday 28th until Friday 31st May
Monday 19th until Friday 23rd August 2019 - RYA stage 1 - 4 RYA Stage 1- 4 Summer holiday course Monday 19th until Friday 23rd August

Clothing required for the course is;
Wetsuit
Wetsuit shoes/boots
Rash Vest
Windproof jacket
Buoyancy aid
Sailing gloves
Suncream
Sunhat
A dry change of clothes and a towel as we will get wet!
Please also bring plenty of water and a pack lunch as we may go for a 'sail away' and stop for lunch away from the club.
Parents/Grandparents are welcome to Volunteer to help if available, please email Katie on the adddress below if you are availble to help with Rib cover etc.
