Hellys Mixed Mindful Stretch Yoga
Hi my name is Helen ( Helly ) some of you already know me from teaching this year at the Academy and I have loved getting to know you individually and seeing your progress.
For those of you who haven’t tried my classes I am a qualified Yoga Teacher in Hamworthy and recently passed my course for Paddle sports instructor and teaching SUP Yoga. My holistic (Reiki Master) and fitness journey started at a young age so naturally I just love to help others enjoy life as much as I do. Keeping fit, stretching and finding time to relax for yourself is so important.
I am enjoying our summer practices together at Hamworthy beach with the members who wanted to keep the journey going during the summer evenings. We have had some lovely evenings and hoping we can get a few more before the seasons change. Thank you for continuing with me on your yoga journey I am truly grateful.
As the summer journey comes to a close on September 26th I know you are asking me to come back to your club, so you can continue working with me for those cosy autumn/winter seasons to keep you feeling good.
This year I'm excited to be bringing new equipment into play so you can experience using more low impact props to help you benefit for the poses.
Props included will be:
The Stretch Bar - this fabulous peace of equipment is light weight, portable with soft stretch bands. The bar covering is soft for your grip, this helps you balance and stretch whilst feeling the resistance and security of the bar.
The Yoga Ring - suitable for body stretching and muscle massage. Great for those poses that are hard to reach.
Knee Pads & Fore Arm Pads - for those of you needing more support for those achy knees and fore arm poses.
Blocks - traditional Yoga equipment that helps to feel the support of those challenging hard to reach transitions.
Bolster - the luxury prop for the restorative practices (Yin Yoga) the large round cushion to support your whole body, bliss.
Weighted Eye Masks - These are perfect for your meditation at the end of the class where you relax into your bolster with your blanket.
Do I need to bring anything?
Yes please a Yoga mat would be ideal and a blanket. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in that will not restrict you.
As before all my classes are a mixture of Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin restorative. I'd also be happy to do a Nidra class for those wanting an hour of sleep Yoga. I’m open to your ideas too.
I look forward to meeting you. If you are a member looking for a fresh gentle class, you do not need to be flexible or amazing at balance. As we say it’s not about touching your toes, it’s about what you learn on the way down.
If you would like to get in touch with me personally if you have any questions then please drop me a message on 07543 063 432 or find me on Facebook @ Helly Happy Place Golding.
Love and Gratitude
