Dartmouth bound in an open dinghy

During the summer of 2023, Jo Macgregor sailed their open 16ft dinghy ‘Bluebell’ without an engine from Poole to Start Point and back. Come and here Jo talk about the fascinating story of this 270-mile single handed journey accompanied by slides, videos and some of the kit used onboard. Jo will talk about the joys and challenges of sailing single handed in an open boat and what led them into dinghy cruising. We will hear about dolphins, seals, rocks, lifeboats, port police, ice creams and Devonshire cream teas!
