Powerboat Level 2 Course

This two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).

It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planning speed and collision regulations.

The course runs from 9am until 5pm on both days and we will meet in the Academy training room located next to the sailing office. Please bring suitable clothing for being on the water. The course is for those wanting to get involved in club Powerboat duties.

Children must be over the age of 14 to complete their Powerboat Level 2 course . The Powerboat courses are not available for Associate members.
