Hi followers of the Cruising Wall.

We hope to fit in a couple of midweek talks during the summer and have a short narrative pencilled in for the Laying out Supper.  More information to follow

The Spring Bank Holiday Rally to Yarmouth was an enormous success with 16+ boats and many members staying on for at least an additional week holiday.  A very big welcome to the new participants and half a dozen youngsters to bring our average age down to something more reasonable - looking forward to you joining us again soon.  A big thanks to Hayles Marine for a lot of effort to accommodate us all.

The Saturday evening meal required two sittings as the turnout of 45 was beyond our expectations and beyond the Wheatsheaf free capacity on the night.  The pontoon party must have been something judging by the extra funds requested!  The section likes to contribute to these parties, we cannot necessarily afford to fund major piss-ups.

With 80 members signed up for 23rd February 2013 the event was a great success.  The dinner was top level with matching service, Wishful Thinking as expected provided quality dance music. see images.  photo 1  photo 2  photo 3  photo 4  photo 5
